Teacher Talks is a professional learning initiative hosted by RMIT University Vietnam, bringing educators together to share ideas, strengthen teaching practice, and shape the future of education in Vietnam.

Unlike traditional conferences built around lectures and presentations, Teacher Talks puts interactive, practical workshops at the centre of the experience. Led by experienced educators and practitioners, sessions invite participants to explore new approaches, exchange perspectives, and try strategies they can adapt to their own classrooms and institutions. Workshops are selected for their quality, relevance, and potential to make a meaningful difference to teaching and learning.

Teacher Talks brings together a uniquely diverse education community, from early-career teachers and experienced classroom practitioners to school leaders, university academics, education administrators, and public officials. By connecting people across institutions, disciplines, and career stages, we create opportunities for professional dialogue, collaboration, and shared learning.

Hosted on RMIT University's campuses in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Danang, Teacher Talks combines the experience of in-person professional learning with a commitment to broader accessibility. Our growing webinar series and Teacher Talks blog extend these opportunities beyond the events, helping educators across Vietnam and beyond access practical insights, contribute their expertise, and build lasting communities of practice.

Teacher Talks also responds to Vietnam's evolving educational priorities, including the national ambition to strengthen English language education, expand English-medium teaching and learning, and develop the capabilities of educators for an increasingly international and digitally connected future.
